Michael V. Donnarummo’s Music Studio Response to Covid-19 

  • No more than one person in the studio at one time. (Parents please wait in your car and I will come and get each student.) All lessons will be streamed to your phone if you would like using your preferred format and the studio wifi. Parents are welcome to come in and view our new studio quickly at the first lesson in our new location.  
  • Each student will wash their hands prior to the lesson. I will provide hand soap, individual paper towel hand sheets, and a stool if necessary. 
  • The schedule has been modified with 15 minute breaks so that families are not overlapping.  
  • After each student the instrument (Yamaha G2 Grand or Yamaha Clavinova) will be disinfected using Clorox wipes or an alcohol spray solution in accordance to the CDC Standards and the Piano Technicians Guild. Hard surfaces in the house will also be cleaned between each student. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for use. 
  • The instructor will sit no less than six feet away and will be wearing a mask to cover his nose and mouth. The instructor will not touch the student’s sheet music but use a laser pointer to refer to passages in the students book.
  • Students may bring their own portable keyboards to the lesson. 
  • There will be no penalty for missed lessons digital makeups are encouraged.
